Job Description

Graduate from a Canadian accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography Program mandatory CMRITO registration mandatory Sonography Canada membership preferred/an asset ARDMS Echocardiography preferred Membership with the Canadian Society of Echocardiography (CSE) preferred. Current BLS/CPR Certificate required. A minimum of two years experience in the cardiac sonography field preferred Familiarity with EQI Echocardiogram standards Experience with TTE and Stress Echo, and contrast study Experience with IV insertion preferred Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills with a well-developed customer service focus; dealing effectively with patients and physicians Effective problem solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced clinical environment Demonstrate initiative and judgment appropriate for the position Ability to work in an interprofessional team environment as well as independently. Demonstrated leadership qualities, and the ability to make independent decisions, displaying a high level of initiative. Proven ability to work successful in a physically and mentally demanding environment. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position. Satisfactory attendance record Case rate with Bonus pay for Contrast Echo and Stress Echo

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
