THIS POSITION IS NOT FOR ECE STUDENTS OR THOSE WITH INTERNATIONAL ECE EXPERIENCE THAT IS NOT RECOGNIZED IN CANADA. YOU MUST BE AN RECE OR HAVE COMPLETED YOUR ECE EDUCATION AT A RECOGNIZED CANADIAN COLLEGE AND IN PROCESS OF REGISTRATION WITH THE COLLEGE OF ECEs. PROOF OF THIS WILL BE REQUIRED

We are looking for reliable, fun and outgoing ECEs/ RECEs to join our team!

Ability to work both opening and closing shifts are essential. Ensure compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act as well as all of our Policies, Durham Public Health regulations and DROC.

Strong leadership skills

Ability to take initiative and work independently is essential

Ability to work well with others, be a team player

Provide a safe, healthy and caring environment for the children

Plan play-based curriculum and implement it in the classroom

Updated Vulnerable Sector Screening Required

Updated immunization including 2-step TB test required

First Aid and CPR Level C

Food Handler's Certification- not required but would be an asset

Completion of a 2-year diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized college

In good standing with the College of ECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator) or in process of registration with the college

Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
