Job Overview

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators (ECE) and Early Childhood Education - Infant/Toddlers (ECE/IT) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging educational activities. Your experience in caregiving and early childhood education will play a crucial role in shaping the learning experiences of our students.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development according to the Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting is preferred. Montessori training is an advantage, with a higher wage. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices and BC ELF Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Ability to create a fun, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children. Certification or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
