We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Director to lead our educational program. This role is pivotal in shaping the learning environment and ensuring that our curriculum meets the needs of all students, particularly those with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to early childhood education, and a deep understanding of working with diverse populations.

Duties

Oversee the development and implementation of educational programs tailored to meet the needs of children, including those with disabilities. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes growth and development for all students. Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance instructional practices and ensure high-quality teaching standards. Provide guidance and support to educators in classroom management and effective teaching strategies. Engage with families and the community to promote the program and build strong partnerships. Monitor student progress and implement strategies for improvement as needed. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or related field. Strong background in working with people with disabilities, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Experience in teaching or caregiving roles, particularly with children. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with staff, families, and community members. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering collaboration among educators. A commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education practices.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.33-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week

Education:

AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:

ECE: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:

ECE certificate or diploma (required)
