Our program offers opportunities for learning through nature, the arts, music/movement and early S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and maths). Teachers play a critical role in helping students develop life skills that will help them in future endeavors, and we are seeking an individual with a genuine desire to provide a level of education that goes beyond the basics and into the realms of curiosity and exploration. We are looking for a lead educator to bring their ideas and work together in our wonderful facility. We currently have 16 children and an average of 3 educators working per day. Both staff and students are long-term and we have created a wonderful space that we love being in. We are looking for someone that can be themselves, bring some silliness, and take initiative (while incorporating Little Wild Philosophies and policies). Responsibilities: - Provide a safe learning environment - To help develop daily, open-ended programming/experiences - Teach using an emergent curriculum - Using a gentle approach, help children with their socio-emotional development - To positively communicate daily with parents/guardians regarding various aspects of care for their child -To follow and maintain daily routines and shift schedules and offer ideas and suggestions to help the program be successful -daily and weekly cleaning duties Job Type: Full-time Salary: $29.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits:
