Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our team of professionals.

Duties:

Develop programs

: Create programs to help children develop physically, emotionally, and intellectually

Lead activities/Circle time

: Use stories, music, art, and play to stimulate children's development

Protect children

: Ensure children's health and safety, and help them learn good habits

Assess children

: Observe children's abilities, interests, and needs

Communicate with parents

: Discuss children's progress or problems with parents and other staff

Build relationships

: Work with parents, other professionals, and community service providers

Provide discipline

: Provide fair but firm discipline

Respect diversity

: Respect the culture of all children

Experience

:

Early Childhood Educator Certificate or Diploma is required Previous experience in an early childhood classroom setting is a must. Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, fostering positive relationships within the school community. Leadership experience within educational settings will be considered an asset.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday from 10:00 am - 5:00pm (half hour break)

You will be required to cover full time staff when needed
