We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be committed to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with special needs or disabilities, and requires a bilingual ability in English and Korean is a plus. The Teacher will play a vital role in supporting children's development, implementing engaging curricula, and collaborating with colleagues and families to ensure each child's success.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavioral concerns
Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate children with disabilities or special needs
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and educational software
Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
Collaborate with colleagues to plan school events and curriculum enhancements
Uphold health and safety standards in compliance with childcare regulations
Experience
Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred
Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is advantageous
Bilingual proficiency in English is highly desirable
Demonstrated classroom experience demonstrating leadership, time management, and organizational skills
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development best practices
Proficiency in computer operation for educational purposes and record management
