We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, special education, or working with children with disabilities. Responsibilities
Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in early childhood or special education settings
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and social development
Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
Support children with disabilities by providing tailored instructional approaches and accommodations
Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
Collaborate with colleagues to develop educational activities and share best practices
Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and educational software applications
Manage classroom organization efficiently to ensure a safe and productive learning space
Demonstrate leadership in guiding students through academic and social challenges
Uphold organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively, including documentation and scheduling
Experience
Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred
Experience in teaching or early childhood education is highly desirable
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a strong asset
Familiarity with special education techniques and working with children with disabilities is advantageous
Strong communication skills necessary for engaging students, parents, and team members
Proven ability to manage classroom activities efficiently using excellent organizational skills
Experience with computer operation, including educational software, record keeping, and communication tools is preferred
Demonstrated time management skills to balance lesson planning, student assessment, and administrative tasks effectively
