Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children of various ages, including those with special needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, classroom management, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs. Bilingual abilities, particularly in English and French, are highly valued. The Teacher will play a vital role in fostering academic growth, social development, and emotional well-being of students while adhering to educational standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Facilitate engaging classroom activities that promote active learning and participation. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting teaching strategies and providing necessary accommodations. Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to support student development and address individual needs. Utilize computer skills for record-keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and clear expectations. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices. Uphold all safety guidelines and policies related to childcare and early childhood education.

Qualifications



Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Strong command of English; bilingual proficiency in French is preferred. Knowledge of special education techniques and working with children with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in computer operation, including classroom management software and basic office applications. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire young learners. Strong writing skills for documentation, reports, and parent communication. Relevant certifications or degrees in early childhood education or related fields are desirable but not mandatory. Pay: $17.85-$39.24 per hour
