We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, child development, and classroom management. This role involves creating a nurturing learning environment that supports the growth and development of children, including those with special needs or disabilities. Bilingual skills in English and French are highly valued to facilitate effective communication with diverse student populations. The Teacher will be responsible for designing engaging lesson plans, fostering positive relationships with students and parents, and maintaining organized classroom environments. Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula tailored to individual student needs, including children with disabilities or special education requirements
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning, creativity, and social-emotional development
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities
Utilize computer skills and classroom technology to enhance instructional delivery and record keeping
Manage classroom behavior through effective time management, leadership, and organizational skills
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports
Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support the diverse needs of students
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, especially when working with children with special needs or disabilities
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices
Experience
Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred
Experience in early childhood education or special education is highly desirable
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a significant advantage
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
Strong writing skills for documentation and reporting purposes
Leadership qualities that foster a collaborative and motivating classroom atmosphere
