Overview
We are a licensed in-home multi-age childcare in Burnaby seeking a reliable Early Childhood Educator for a short-term contract (February-March).
February will be part-time hours to support classroom transition and help children settle. March will be full-time hours, acting as the Lead Educator while the owner is away. This position ends in March and ongoing work is not guaranteed.
The educator will supervise a small group of children, lead daily age-appropriate activities, maintain a safe and structured environment, follow licensing requirements, and communicate professionally with parents.
Requirements:
Valid BC ECE certification, First Aid & CPR, Criminal Record Check, strong punctuality, commitment, and ability to work independently.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
