Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated ECE (Early Childhood Education) Student to support our early learning programs. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a career in early childhood education or related fields to gain practical experience working with young children. The role involves assisting with classroom activities, supporting children with diverse needs, and contributing to a nurturing learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, caregiving, and working with children.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in implementing daily classroom activities and lesson plans Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs through engaging interactions Provide care and supervision to children during play, meals, and rest periods Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Help maintain a clean and organized classroom setting Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative atmosphere Picking up children from elementary schools.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled as an Early Childhood Education (ECE) student or in a related program Prior classroom experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Experience working with children of various ages and abilities, including those with disabilities Strong caregiving skills and patience when working with young children Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment Passion for teaching, nurturing, and supporting early childhood development Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude toward children and families
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 17.5 per week
