Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves working closely with children, including those with disabilities, to support their developmental and educational needs. The ECE will play a vital role in fostering growth, curiosity, and social skills through age-appropriate activities and caregiving practices.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to early childhood development standards Provide attentive caregiving to meet the physical, emotional, and educational needs of children Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social interaction and learning Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure consistent support for each child's growth Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in compliance with safety regulations Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices

Qualifications

Prior classroom experience working with young children is preferred Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong background in early childhood education or related field Passion for teaching and caring for children's development Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with children, families, and team members Demonstrated caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and professionalism Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse needs and backgrounds

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
