Hiring: ECE Level 2 Educator - Babies & Infant Room

Brainy Bees Montessori & Childcare

is seeking a warm, dedicated, and experienced

ECE Level 2 Educator

to join our Babies & Infant Room. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood development, enjoys nurturing young children, and can create a safe, loving, and stimulating environment.

Position:

ECE Level 2 - Babies & Infant Room

Experience Required:

Minimum 1 year working with infants (6-18 months)

Start Date:

December 2025

Montessori experience:

An asset (training or hands-on experience)

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and supervision for infants in a nurturing and engaging environment Administer medication following program policies and parental/medical authorization Perform diaper changes, feeding, bottle preparation, and ensure proper hygiene at all times Maintain a clean, safe, and organized infant classroom Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities Communicate daily with parents about feeding, sleep, diapering, and learning Document observations and contribute to individualized child development plans Follow all Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations and program policies Work collaboratively with a supportive and caring team

Qualifications

ECE Level 2

certification (required) Minimum

1 year

experience in an infant or baby room Strong understanding of infant development, safety, and responsive care CPR/First Aid Certification (Childcare-specific) Montessori experience or willingness to learn Montessori practices is considered an asset Excellent communication, patience, and reliability
