Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Specialist to support the development and education of young children in a dynamic learning environment. Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to early childhood development stages Support children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring inclusive classroom practices Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and social-emotional growth Collaborate with families, teachers, and specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) when necessary Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities using computer operation skills Manage classroom routines efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills Lead small group activities and assist in classroom management to promote positive behavior Use effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and team members professionally Uphold health and safety standards in compliance with licensing regulations and best practices

Experience

Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is advantageous Classroom teaching experience demonstrating leadership and organizational skills is desirable Bilingual proficiency in English and French enhances communication with diverse populations Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including child development milestones Familiarity with computer skills such as basic computer operation, record keeping, and report writing Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a dynamic environment
