Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
Provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children
Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring they receive appropriate care and attention
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members to encourage open communication
Monitor and document children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom or activity areas
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and improve program quality
Adhere to all safety protocols and licensing requirements related to early childhood education
Skills
Prior classroom experience in early childhood settings is highly desirable
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmentally appropriate practices
Compassionate caregiving skills combined with patience and understanding
Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, families, and team members
Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs of children
