Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to support early childhood education and caregiving activities. This role involves working closely with children, to foster a positive and nurturing learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in classroom settings, a passion for teaching, and a genuine interest in helping children develop their skills and confidence.

Duties

Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs Support children during classroom activities, ensuring safety and engagement Provide care and supervision for children Help with daily routines and transitions such as meal times and outside time Foster a welcoming environment that encourages social interaction and learning Support individual needs of children through personalized attention and caregiving Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and spaces Communicate effectively with teachers, and team members regarding children's progress and needs

Skills

Prior classroom experience preferred, especially working with young children Strong understanding of early childhood education principles Experience in caregiving roles demonstrating patience, empathy, and nurturing qualities Ability to teach basic skills through engaging activities Excellent communication skills for interacting with children and team members Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Passion for supporting children's growth and development through caring guidance and educational support
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
