Ece Assistant
Job Description
We're looking for a bright and energetic individual to help our thriving 3-5 year old program at Dharma Kids Centre.
We require a valid ECE Assistant or ECE certificate for this position. Please note that this position is expected to start for December 2025 or January 2026.
The hours will be part-time for the afternoons Monday to Friday with the potential to expand to more hours as needed.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the children, parents and other teachers.
-A positive outlook and optimistic attitude
-A desire to create a healthy and safe environment for the children
-An openness to new ideas and exciting changes
-Existing experience in childcare - whether through a practicum or working in other childcare programs
Requirements:
-Successful criminal record check
-Immunization record
-3 Character references
