445 - Introduction to Preschool Settings

This course considers the child, the adult, the preschool environment, and the broader socio-cultural contexts of preschool programs. There will be an emphasis on knowledge and experience of the complex interactions of the components which comprise developmentally appropriate preschool settings.
Position Requirements
Normally it is preferred that applicants will have a Master of Education degree appropriate to the area of instruction. Applicants should also have experience in the education system appropriate to the content of the course applied for, knowledge of, and experience with the Saskatchewan curriculum, knowledge and experience with Faculty of Education programs, and current knowledge of issues related to the course for which the applicant has applied. University teaching experience is an asset.
