Academic & Experience Requirements:
Must have Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Diploma or Degree, and registered in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
Min 2 years experience in Early Childcare and Knowledge of best practices in the Early Learning development field
Flexible and hybrid working schedule
Committed to the principles of diversity and inclusion
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills, Knowledge and hands on experience of Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrate good classroom management skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with CRM / LMS systems is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress
Advise students on program curricula and career decisions
Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations and laboratory, shop and field studies
Comply with all regulatory standards as set out by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU), and the Ontario Career College Act, 2005
