We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves supporting lead teachers in implementing lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of students.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities that promote early childhood education. Support students in their learning by providing individualized attention and encouragement. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships. Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to lead teachers as necessary. Participate in classroom management and discipline strategies to ensure a productive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with colleagues to develop educational materials and resources tailored to student needs. Communicate with parents/families at pick up

Qualifications

Previous classroom experience or teaching background is preferred. Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. A background in early childhood education / ECA is highly desirable. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
