Job Description

1. 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; hours may change depending on the program and children's needs

2. 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; hours may change depending on the program and children's needs

3. 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; hours may change depending on the program and children's needs

Compensation: $22.80 per hour, plus Government Approved Wage Enhancement for all hours worked directly with children to fully licensed ECE Staff. Plus, a generous leave, benefits, and pension package.

Program & Location: The Alex Early Care & Learning Centre - Coquitlam

Additional Requisites/Assets:
  • A BC Early Childhood Educator license to practice is required
  • An Infant and Toddler certificate is required
  • Special Needs certificate is an asset
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers and children with complex needs is an asset
  • A valid child-oriented First Aid Certificate is required
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
  • Covid-19 (including booster) and annual flu vaccinations are required, unless with an exemption
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada
  • All positions are subject to a Criminal Records Review (Submitted by Atira)
