Program Facilitator
to join our team for
a part-time contract role from November 28, 2025 to March 31,2026
.
The ideal candidate should possess a
College Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
, with preference given to
Registered ECEs
. They must hold valid
Police Clearance
for the vulnerable sector, a
TB test result, and First Aid & CPR certification
. The ideal candidate should possess
1-3 years of experience working with children
, have the ability to effectively engage with families with
children aged 0-6
in diverse community settings. Proficiency in programming for children in this age group is essential. Proficiency in MS Office and office equipment such as fax machines, computers, and photocopiers is required for outreach work and program tasks. Superior communication and interpersonal skills are a must, with fluency in a second language relevant to the community being an asset.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans and implements activities including setting up for programs and activities, and cleaning up afterwards
Facilitate the School Readiness and other programs in conjunction with the EarlyON CFC staff
Collaborates with other service providers in order to facilitate partnerships
Works as a team with the EarlyON CFC staff and other satellite sites as applicable
Purchases supplies and snacks for programs as needed
Supports the EarlyON CFC team in running programs and activities in an efficient manner including providing rotational coverage
Interacts with the children based on their developmental level
Interacts with parents who attend the program and inform the supervisor of their needs
Facilitates and supports the parents with respect to their culture and values
Provides resources and materials to the parents according to their needs
Explains the educational purpose of activities to adults if requested
Provides relief to administrative/intake worker
Prepares reports when needed
Provides orientation and training for all accepted candidates
Maintains up to date records of volunteer and placement students' attendances, and other documentations.
Responsible for ensuring that volunteers/placement students' learning goals and professional experience needs are met
Actively participates in program's community development activities including advocacy, outreach and community engagement and empowerment activities
Participates in networks of neighbourhood based service providers
Nurtures community members for leadership
Participates in and supports local community events
Handles program equipment and organizes equipment/supplies on a regular basis
Works with the EarlyON CFC team in maintaining a safe and clean office environment
Other duties as assigned
Vaccination Requirement
- You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to any valid medical or religious exemption from vaccination as provided by the Ontario Human Rights Code.
Screening
- As a condition of employment, the successful applicant must complete a Vulnerable Sector Screening.

Schedule:
Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
