Job Description

Are you passionate about early childhood development and supporting caregivers in building strong, healthy relationships with their children? We are looking for an Early Years Programmer to join our team and support families with children ages 0-6 throughout the West Corridor FRN area (Based in Fort Macleod, serving Pincher Creek, Granum, and the Crowsnest Pass).

About the Role


As an Early Years Programmer, you will plan and deliver evidence-based/informed programs that promote social-emotional development and positive parenting practices. You'll work closely with families, caregivers, and community partners to foster nurturing, responsive environments where young children can thrive.

This is a

full-time permanent position

, based out of our Fort Macleod location, with travel throughout the FRN area.

What You'll Do



Deliver parenting programs such as Triple P, Circle of Security, and Kids Have Stress Too!*
Provide one-on-one support and guidance to caregivers Facilitate groups that build caregiver confidence and capacity Share child development resources and program updates Collaborate with other Kids First staff and community organizations Collect program data and contribute to monthly reporting Identify community needs and support culturally responsive programming

What You Bring



Education in Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth Care, Social Work, or a related field Knowledge of early brain development and childhood trauma Experience working with children ages 0-6 and their caregivers Strong facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to create program materials, documents, and online content Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, and virtual meeting platforms Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and $2,000,000 insurance coverage Ability to lift and carry program supplies as needed
