About Sundre Daycare Centre (SDC):

The Sundre Daycare Centre (SDC) is a vibrant, dynamic, non-profit childcare facility catering to children from under 12 months to 12 years of age. Established in May 2008, SDC is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of both SDC parents and community members. Our programming includes Toddler, Preschool, KinderCare, Out of School Care, and Summer Programs.

We are seeking two dedicated and experienced full-time Early Childhood Educators to join our team. If you have a background in working with children aged 3-5 and KinderCare aged children (5-6).

Requirements:

Level One in Early Childhood Education (must be completed within the first 3 months of employment) Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to complete certification within 1 month of employment commencing) Current Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search Must be at least 18 years old due to Licensing Regulations

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

Previous experience working with children Knowledge or experience with the Alberta FLIGHT framework An interest in or pursuit of post-secondary education related to children

Specific Duties:

Assist staff with planning and implementing activities for designated programs and children of all ages Work directly with parents, children, and staff daily Complete assigned janitorial duties Adhere to all policies and procedures laid out by Sundre Daycare Centre, Alberta Health Services (AHS), and Alberta Childcare Licensing

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay:

$16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected Hours:

20 - 40 hours per week
