We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Supervisor (ECE Level 3) to join our team in providing high-quality educational experiences for young children. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment. This role involves overseeing classroom activities, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with educational standards while promoting the development of each child.

Duties

Supervise daily classroom operations, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff through effective communication. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing guidance and support as needed. Collaborate with staff to create individualized education plans for children with disabilities. Maintain accurate records of children's activities, attendance, and developmental milestones. Organize training sessions for staff on best practices in early childhood education. Utilize computer operation skills to manage classroom documentation and reporting effectively. Ensure compliance with local regulations and organizational policies regarding health and safety standards.

Experience

Proven experience in early childhood education or a related field is essential. Strong time management skills to effectively balance multiple responsibilities within the classroom setting. Demonstrated ability to educate and communicate effectively with diverse groups of children. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom resources efficiently.

Education/Experience/Certifications

Early Childhood Development Level 3 or equivalent Current Childcare First Aid & CPR Current Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Minimum 2 year experience in day care/out of school environment
