Job Title: Assistant Director - Early Childhood Education Program

Location: Calgary

Clever Daycare is looking for an

Assistant Director

to join one of its branches. This role is responsible for the smooth functioning of all aspects of the Centre and requires expertise in program planning and strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications:

Degree in Early Childhood Education or Childcare Supervisor Certificate (

Level 3

):

Required

Minimum three years of

supervisory

experience in childcare Early Childhood administration and program supervisory experience Proficiency in children's development, organizational policies, and human resources procedures Strong professionalism and enthusiasm for serving children and families Excellent communication and organizational skills Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification

Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth operation of the childcare centre to best serve children and families. Maintain compliance with Alberta licensing requirements and program plans. Manage documentation for health, safety, and licensing. Foster positive relationships with parents and mediate conflicts. Manage attendance records, activity planning, and events. Collaborates with marketing and sales to maximize centre capacity by handling tours, registrations, waitlist management, and timely space filling. Coordinate staff scheduling and recruitment processes. Provide supervision, leadership, and support to centre staff. Collaborate with the management team and/or centre director and perform the duties assigned accordingly.

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
