Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and a commitment to providing high-quality education to our students.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the developmental needs of children. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to promote positive relationships. Assess and document children's progress through observations and assessments. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Provide support for children with disabilities, ensuring inclusive practices in the classroom. Utilize computer operation skills for administrative tasks such as record keeping and lesson planning. Incorporate bilingual education techniques when necessary to support diverse learners.

Qualifications

A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience in childcare settings is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively. Ability to write clear reports and communicate ideas effectively both verbally and in writing. Familiarity with educational tools and resources that support early childhood development. Bilingual skills are a plus; proficiency in French is particularly beneficial. A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a classroom setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
