Overview
We are seeking a casual/part time Early Childhood Educator to cover staff holidays, personal days, etc. Applicant must be able to work various shifts from Monday to Friday.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will work closely with children, parents, and other educators to ensure that each child's individual needs are met and that they thrive in a supportive classroom setting.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities for all the children.
• Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Organize classroom materials and resources to facilitate effective learning experiences.
• Maintain a clean classroom environment.

Qualifications

• ECE Level I is required.
• Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate.
• Current Criminal Record Check.
• Experience working with young children is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly classroom environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A commitment to educating all children inclusively, regardless of their background or abilities.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$20.50 per hour
