We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team. The ideal candidates will have strong backgrounds in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves working closely with children, parents, and staff to promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child in our care.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and love for learning. Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and other documentation as required. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Skills

Ability to read, write, communicate, comprehend and speak English; knowledge of French is a plus.

Strong background in childcare, including experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain records efficiently. Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within a busy classroom setting. Leadership abilities to guide children in their learning journey while fostering independence. Computer skills for classroom operation and maintaining digital records; familiarity with educational software is advantageous. Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
