We are currently looking for Casual Early Learning Educators who prefer the flexibility and variety of casual childcare work, or looking to build their experience in the field
Summary
Reporting to the Center Director the Casual Early Learning Educators are responsible for the primary supervision and teaching of the children in their classroom. They're charged with caring for the children and ensuring they are given a safe, happy, and educational environment.
Early Learning Educator Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains high quality childcare standards based on developmentally appropriate practices.
Follow/ implement the programming and educational curriculum offered in the classroom using the UEA's programs: Singapore Math, Learning without Tears for Reading/Writing & Literacy, Social Thinking.
Works closely with the Director and other staff and communicate availability for shifts.
Adapt quickly to changes, have a positive attitude and collaborate to find solution that support the day to day operation of the centre
Maintains documentation to support the licensed status: attendance, medication, diapering & meals, etc.
Complies with policies and procedures for the operation of the childcare center.

Early Learning Educator Skills and Qualifications
The Casual Early Learning Educators needs to have a passion for working with children as well as strong leadership skills.
Level 1, 2 or 3 Certificate, Early Learning and Childcare Diploma.
Valid First Aid certificate and Police Clearance with vulnerable sector search.
Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills with children and adults alike.
Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate with parents, staff, and children.
Must have strong leadership skills to be able to lead a classroom of children.
A model of best practices in child-rearing, including discipline, encouragement, and communication.
Knowledge in child development, and parent-child relationships.
Must have an appropriate code of ethics for working with young children.
Must be flexible and able to react appropriately to changing circumstances.
Must be professional and provide a public face for the childcare facility.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $16.50-$20.00 per hour
