Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff to build a strong community. Facilitate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that promotes learning and creativity. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all children. Stay informed about current trends in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.

Skills

Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in early childhood settings. Pay: $16.47-$25.35 per hour
