This is for a term position to cover a maternity leave

Some of the fun and creative things our teachers do include:
Creating and implementing lesson plans

• Using different media (books, internet, electronic devices) to teach skills.
• Implementing our curriculum and working with parents to create and implement fun and effective classroom activities .

Some of the competencies teachers must have:
An Early Childhood Education Certification, current criminal record check, vulnerable sector check and first aid

• Be passionate about early childhood education and have an interest in working with children.
• Be able to communicate clearly, concisely, accurately and thoroughly.
• Have strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
• Have the ability to collaborate with others.
• Have the ability to handle conflict gracefully and effectively.
• Have the ability to plan and organize work space effectively.
• Have the ability to develop strong relationships with parents and children

Pay: $15.24-$25.51 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
