Job Overview

Global Kids Academy is looking for a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to join our team. There are kindergarten, preschool, toddler and infant groups. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development, providing various activities and ensuring their safety. The position requires a genuine love for working with children.

Responsibilities

(including, but not limited to)

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development Supervise and engage with children during daily routines, playtime, and organised activities Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and behaviour Manage classroom resources and organise learning materials efficiently Lead and motivate team members to ensure high standards of childcare and education Support the organisation of special events and field trips Observe and assess each child's development to tailor activities that meet individual needs Maintaining documents in compliance with licensing, health and safety regulations

Qualifications

Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst demonstrating initiative and organisational skills Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certificate (Level 3) Valid First Aid Certificate Clear Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search Valid Food Safety Certificate
