Position Summary:

Mini Miracles Daycare is looking to recruit a dynamic daycare teachers for our family style learning and awesome group of children, educators and families. This position will be primarily working with preschoolers.

Centre is open 6am to 6 pm Monday to Friday

Shifts : 8am to 5pm

Hourly wages: $ 17 for Level 3

Responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to)

Plan engaging age appropriate activities and lessons that stimulate children's intellectual social, emotional and physical growth Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum Maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment Fostering positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues Ensuring positive, professional communication with families on an ongoing basis, and respond promptly to all requests Enhance social skills in children such as leadership, teamwork, problem solving, conflict resolution and the ability to form meaningful relationships with their peers Delivering quality age-appropriate programs that are reflective of the varied interests of the group Participate in professional development including staff meetings, workshops and training Cleaning and tidying of the facility and ensuring the safe storage of equipment Report on a regular basis to Mini Miracles Program Supervisor regarding issues of need and/or concerns Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Level 2/3 ECE Minimum of 1 year experience in child care First Aid certificate Current police check dated within the last 6 months with Vulnerable sector search. Speak, write and read English (or good enough English to be understood properly by everyone
