We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. The Early Childhood Educator will work collaboratively with parents and staff to ensure each child's needs are met.
Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning and development.
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
Encourage children's curiosity and exploration through hands-on activities and play-based learning.
Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and behavior.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
Support children with special needs or disabilities, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
Foster bilingual communication where applicable.
Experience
A diploma in Early Childhood Education is mandatory. (Level 2 classification)
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
Familiarity with special education practices is nessasary
Strong english communication skills are highly desirable.
Proven ability to manage time effectively while maintaining organization within the classroom.
Leadership skills to guide classroom activities and support fellow educators.
Proficient reading & writing skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication purposes.
