Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 2 Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and personalised care.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Manage daily classroom routines, ensuring a safe and organised environment for children Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and behavioural updates Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and behaviour Foster inclusive behaviour and encourage positive interactions among children Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and childcare regulations at all times

Requirements

Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written A caring attitude with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst demonstrating initiative and organisational skills Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certificate (Level 3) Valid First Aid Certificate Clear Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search Valid Food Safety Certificate
