World of Wonders Daycare is looking for a hard working, enthusiastic individual to join our team as soon as possible with full time or part time position. Number of hours/day and days/week can be discussed if part time position is desired. We are an accredited daycare and out of school care facility. We strive to provide an educational, fun, engaging, and culturally diverse experience for our children. The Day Care/Out of School Care worker will be responsible for the following: -Taking care of children and perform daily routine - Assisting Director with paperwork as well as mild office duties ( answer phones, respond to emails and inquires from parents) - Assisting in preparing/serving snack for children - Mild cleaning duties for room - Contacting and communicating with parents and guardians - Ensuring parents sign children in and of log books - Creating programming for children Job Requirements: You must possess the following: - Level 2 or Level 3 (Level 3 is preferred) - Education with Child and Youth Care - Previous experience working with children in Daycare/OSC - Ability to work in a shift (8 hrs) (can be discussed further in interview). Daycare is open 6:30 am to 6:30 pm and have started an overnight childcare. Schedule can be discussed and mutually agreed upon.
