We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator( Level 2 & 3) to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional development, and supporting children's individual needs. The Early Childhood Teacher will collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents to ensure a positive learning experience for every child.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment
Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records of development milestones
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and school events
Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
Incorporate bilingual instruction (English/French) when applicable to support language development
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with disabilities or special education requirements
Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and supplies
Skills
Proficiency in English,
Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
Ability to operate computers and use educational software for documentation and planning purposes
Excellent organizational skills to manage lesson plans, assessments, and classroom resources
Time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently
Leadership qualities to guide children's learning experiences positively
Writing skills for maintaining accurate records and communicating with parents
Compassionate approach to working with children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities
