Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities that promote learning and development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, providing supervision during play and activities.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
- Maintain open and professional communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's development.
- Foster social, emotional, and physical development through play-based learning and hands-on experiences.
- Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to enhance the learning environment and share best practices.
- Implement positive behavior management strategies to encourage appropriate behavior and conflict resolution among children.
- Respect and incorporate the diverse backgrounds and cultures of children and families into the learning environment.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized classroom.
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Valid ECE license/registration.
- Valid First Aid/ CPR
- Clear criminal record check from the Ministry of Justice.
- Positive references.
- Knowledge of Reggio Emilia Approach and Play based Learning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for early childhood education and fostering children's development.

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
