Jilly Beans is an Early Learning Center for children ages 2-12 years in Hanwell. We use a nature-based learning approach that values each child as strong, capable and resilient. A large portion of our days are spent outside exploring, learning, and playing in nature.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated educator to join our amazing team. If you have a true passion for children and understand the importance and value in outdoor learning - then we want to meet you.

Responsibilities:

*The individual will engage with children and support them to explore their interests through a child-led, play based program.

Plan and implement the NB Curriculum Framework for preschool age children.
*Provide a fun and inviting environment.

*Ensure safety, health, and hygiene procedures at all times.

Encourage and develop positive relationships among and with the children.
*Observe and document children's learning experiences.

*Offer positive child guidance.

*Willing to attend staff meetings and training.

*Communicate respectfully with other educators and parents.

Requested Qualifications:

*Early Childhood Education (preferred but not mandatory)

*Current First Aid with CPR-C

*Clear criminal record check, vulnerable sector check and social development check.

*Experience working with children in a licensed early learning center.

We are a nature based center so a passion for the outdoors in all types of weather is required.

Pay: $16.83-$25.35 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday
