Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging educational activities. You will play a vital role in shaping their early learning experiences, ensuring that each child feels valued and supported in their growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical. Create a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Educate children through play-based activities that encourage exploration and creativity. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and behaviour. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the educational program and share best practices. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Utilize computer operation skills for administrative tasks, including lesson planning and record keeping.

Requirements

Valid BC ECEA, ECE, or Infant/Toddler licence Valid First Aid Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively. Proficiency in English for clear communication with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to write detailed reports on children's progress and classroom activities. Familiarity with educational technology to enhance teaching methods is a plus. A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.45-$23.00 per hour
