Job Summary

Myrnam Play Development is part of a non profit, charitable society.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator level 2 or 3 to join our team in the small village of Myrnam. We are a learning through play program and value FLIGHT curriculum and have inclusive practices.

The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care, ensuring that each child feels valued and supported in their learning journey.

*This position may be part time to full time for the summer and will be full time for September.

Working with children from 0 to 12 years.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with program standards. Create a safe and engaging environment that encourages exploration and learning. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Foster positive relationships with children, promoting social skills and emotional well-being. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the experience and share best practices. Understand, demonstrate Early Learning and Childcare and health and safety regulations for child care facilities. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and program activities.

Skills

Strong understanding of early childhood development principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in early childhood education. Values inclusive, learning through play practices

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $23.05-$27.62 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
