A Little About Our Center Little stars daycare will be a registered center that will be operating under the OGP and in compliance with the wage grid. We will accommodate 120 children from ages 0-5 years old Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm. We will have 10 rooms that will consist of 1 infant room, 4 toddler rooms, 3 mixed rooms and 2 preschool rooms. Each homeroom will have the maximum ratio for each with 2 eces in each room. There is a large kitchen to prepare all meals and snacks, a staff room for the eces to enjoy their morning coffee and breaks, a laundry room, a staff washroom along with washrooms in every homeroom. We will have an 8,000 square foot outdoor play area that will enter right into from the center and a separate play area for the infants that will enter right into from the infant room. Our Center will be equipped with an intercom in the vestibule and a tablet in each room, once a parent shows up during the day to pick up their child/children, they will buzz the room at which these children are in and the employee will buzz them into the Center once proper confirmation has been made. Staffroom, kitchen and office will have key card access. Our Center is also equipped with a fire alarm and sprinkler system in the event of a fire. This will be one of, if not the largest Center on the island with 120 kids and 24 staff. Overview: We are seeking resumes for ECE call ins to help cover breaks and sickdays. This could be a last minute call to come in and cover for an employee. hours will vary. Please send us your resume if interesred. \xe2\x97\x8f Current and clear police records check and vulnerable sector check from NL or other province of Canada ( no less than 3 months old) \xe2\x97\x8f First Aid certificate that includes infant CPR and AED training \xe2\x97\x8f Registered with AECENL \xe2\x97\x8f Early Childhood Education Diploma AND minimum of Level 1 certification with preschool, toddler and infant classification from AECENL (Association of Early Childhood Educators of Newfoundland Labrador) \xe2\x97\x8f Experience is an asset Job Types: Part-time, Casual Expected hours: 20 \xe2\x80\x93 25 per week Benefits:
