Early Childhood Educator - 1 Part/Full Time Position

We are a nature based Reggio-inspired, swimming, skating, and literacy rich, ELCC program. We are the only ELCC program in all of ALBERTA that includes swimming and skating as part of our daily curriculum.

The ability to be comfortable in the water and on the ice while supervising children is ABSOLUTELY required for this position.

Requirements for this position:

- Early Childhood Certification Level 1, 2, or 3.

- Current Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search (before hiring).

- Basic First Aid and Infant CPR (upon hiring).

- Letter from a physician stating candidate is mentally and physically able to work with children.

- Ability to multitask and provide responsive child care while prioritizing tasks based on need.

- Ability to swim, skate, and garden are a beneficial.

Preference will be given to Early Childhood Educators with a Level 3,

BUT

will consider to someone who is willing to level up and is comfortable being in the water/on ice supervising children (professional development funding is available).
