Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to join our team in supporting the educational development of children. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment, assist with classroom activities, and provide individualized support to students. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing atmosphere that encourages growth and learning.

Duties

- Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and classroom activities.
- Support students in their learning by providing one-on-one or small group assistance.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, ensuring a safe and productive classroom environment.
- Help maintain classroom organization and cleanliness.
- Engage with students during playtime and educational activities to promote social skills and teamwork.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans effectively.
- Provide caregiving support for younger children, ensuring their well-being throughout the school day.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive educational community.

Requirements

- Experience working with children in an educational or caregiving setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students of varying backgrounds and abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing classroom tasks.
- A passion for educating and nurturing young minds, fostering their curiosity and love for learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.75-$25.50 per hour
