Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with children, parents, and staff.
Responsibilities
Assist educators in planning and implementing daily activities. Supervise and ensure children's safety and well-being at all times. Support children with routines (meals, rest, toileting, transitions). Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Encourage positive social interaction and behavior management. Communicate effectively with staff, children, and parents. Follow health, safety, and licensing standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Experience working with children (asset). Early Childhood Assistant certificate (preferred, not mandatory). Valid First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check. Caring, patient, and reliable personality.
