We are looking for a dedicated

Full-Time Substitute ECEA

to join our team and support our 8 licensed child care centres across Greater Victoria. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a variety of settings and learn from a diverse team of passionate early childhood educators.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide coverage for staff absences across multiple locations (may include same-day movement between centres in the case of emergencies or illness). Support classroom routines, activities, and transitions for children aged 0-5 years. Foster a caring, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Collaborate with educators and follow centre philosophies and routines. Maintain a safe and positive environment for children, families, and staff.

Requirements:

Current

ECEA Certificate

(Early Childhood Education Assistant).

Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

for use during your shift. Ability to travel between locations within Greater Victoria as needed. Current first aid certification and clear criminal record check (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.25-$21.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 42.5 per week
