Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. You will assist in implementing educational activities, fostering social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Duties

Assist the lead teacher in planning and executing age-appropriate educational activities. Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, and transitions between activities. Provide support to children with disabilities, ensuring their inclusion in all classroom activities. Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging social interactions and emotional growth among students. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom setting. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and needs. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team approach to early childhood education.

Qualifications

Previous classroom experience or experience working with children is preferred. Background in early childhood education or caregiving is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
