Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. The Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for implementing curriculum, managing classroom activities, and fostering positive relationships with students and their families.

Duties



Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques. Provide individualized support to children, including those with special needs or requiring early intervention. Monitor and assess student progress in literacy, math, and other developmental areas. Utilize behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior among students. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and teaching strategies. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current in early childhood education practices.

Qualifications



Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certificate Experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Familiarity with Reggio methods or other educational philosophies is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and standardized testing preparation as needed. Experience in tutoring or providing additional support for students is beneficial. A commitment to child welfare and creating an inclusive classroom environment. Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
